Striped bra set

Hello! I made a new set of bra and undies yesterday. This is actually a test bra and so far I’m quite satisfied with the result. As I’ve mentioned in my previous post about bra, I’ve been using A Sophisticated Pair’s bra calculator to help me find my correct bra size. With my 26.5 inches band measurement and 31.5 inches bust measurement, the calculator gave me the size US 28E for moderately snug band. Blue and white lace set (Danglez DB5)

Recently I just came to a conclusion that my bra size is not quite right (!!!). You might ask how I didn’t realize that sooner? I think that a part of it was caused by years of never finding the right size so I never knew how the right bra size are supposed to feel. Black Lingerie set

I’ve been making lingerie for sometime now, and my drawer is happily filled with pink, blue, peach, red, polka dot and floral ones when I realized that I didn’t have a black one. You know, an ordinary black lace set, which every woman should have. nani IRO lingerie set

Unfortunately, no progress at all on my dresses sewing projects. I got sick for a week and then summer came in full force, melting my sewing mojo with the heat. Red lace set

A little sewing project that I did yesterday, my instant gratification! Of course it was a new set of bra and two panties. This time I didn’t used my usual Pin-Up Girls pattern, but Merckwaerdigh PBH30. The pattern is for push-up underwired bra, bustier, bodysuit, and thong bodysuit. I’ve used the pattern before to make this blue bodysuit. I made a little alteration to the bridge between the bra cups. They were a bit too wide on me so I simply shaved both sides a little bit to narrow it. Spring flowers set

Instead of packing like what I was supposed to do, I made a new set of bra and panties yesterday. I was packing in the sewing room when my eyes rested upon this wonderful lycra fabric in my stash. The flowers pattern looks like a blooming garden in spring, and suddenly I felt that I need to make something with it right that very moment! Peach and grey lingerie set

Making bra and panties is a sort of instant gratification for me. They only need little fabrics and don’t need much space for cutting the pattern. And with each lingerie project that I’ve finished, I gained more knowledge on what way is the best for attaching things. This new set was made with bra and lingerie notions set from Merckwaerdigh. Cotton knit lingerie set

Another new set of bra and panties that I made yesterday. Nothing really special, no frills nor lace as I wanted something simple this time. The fabric is cotton knit by Liberty of London. I need about half yard to make the whole set. The bra pattern is Pin-up Girls Classic Bra #1230, size 30C. This is a classic full band bra that can be made with or without underwires. Baby blue bodysuit

I sewed something today! No, not a dress, but a lingerie bodysuit. I was always curious with this type of lingerie, but couldn’t bring myself to buy something so expensive that I wouldn’t wear often. Black and white lingerie set

I always get nervous before going on a trip, and sewing is a way to calm myself. It is sort of like meditation to me because I have to put other thoughts aside and concentrate on this particular task.
