I sewed something today! No, not a dress, but a lingerie bodysuit. I was always curious with this type of lingerie, but couldn’t bring myself to buy something so expensive that I wouldn’t wear often.

The pattern is Merckwaerdigh PBH30 that I won sometime ago at Merckwaerdigh ebay auction. The pattern is for push-up underwired bra, bustier, bodysuit, and thong bodysuit. The fabric and notions are also from Merckwaerdigh, but the tiny bow and the hook and eye set is from Yuzawaya. I should have used white hook and eye set, but that was I had in hand at the moment.

Although I usually wear 30B, but from my previous experience, I found out that my cup size for Merckwaerdigh is 30C. The body is in size S. I can’t say that making this bodysuit is an easy thing, but it was sure a great experience! The bodice is still a little bit too long for me, maybe because I’m not tall. The fit is still great, but it can be better. Next time I will reduce the length of the bodice.

The bodysuit is quite comfortable to wear, although obviously not meant for summer wear. But I can imagine wearing this in colder weather and enjoying the advantage of having my stomach covered.
