As before, I was offered to participate in the blog tour and given all the patterns in the parcel. When I saw the patterns, I was mostly interested in the Bronte top and Julia cardigan. Both are made with knit fabric and look very comfortable! Since I have just made a cardigan, I decided to make the Bronte top.

Bronte top offers short and long sleeves option and is multisize from 6 to 20. The most interesting detail is the lapped shoulder, creating shrug-like sleeves that can be left plain or decorated. I made the long sleeves option in size 6. The only alteration I made was shortening the bodice. The instructions are quite thorough with clear diagrams, suitable for beginners. I made the top on my serger and use sewing machine for the topstitching.

Please excuse my messy hair, I clearly need a haircut! This top is quick and easy top to make, with enough detail to keep it interesting. I love the colors of my fabric, I think it is perfect for autumn!
