Just a quick post to tell you that I’ve made a PDF pattern of my reversible bag. It has rounded bottom with a couple of darts on the side. Link for download is at the end of this post. The instruction for making the bag is also available in PDF file, or go to this post to read it in my site. Disclaimer: You may use the finished products for both personal and commercial use (craft shops or markets only – no mass production). Please do not pass off the pattern and tutorial as your own. Thank you!

Glad to hear from you Chigu! Your purple bag is so cute!
Hey Miss Very Purple Person,
Have been looking for a funky easy reversible bag pattern. Stumbled across yours and am eager to get started! I hope it looks as good as the one you’ve done.
Thank you ever so much for sharing.
Sorry, I forgot to add that I blogged about my bag here http://opportunityknits.blogspot.com/2010/05/reversible-bag.html
Thanks for sharing your bag pattern and instructions, which were easy to follow. I love my new bag. THANKS again :)
You’re welcome, Erin!
My favourite part is turning the bag right sides out too. It looks like a pointless crumpled fabric and suddenly it becomes a bag! :D
hi
It’s so beautiful i like your creative.

Awww thank you! You are all so lovely!
This looks great, I can’t wait to try it!
Hi – awesome bag. I tried to make one for a friend, I can’t for the life of me get it to turn out when I pull through the handles. I end up with a bag stuck inside a bag? Are you able to elaborate a bit more on the turn out process? thank you
Hi Victoria,
Sometimes I encounter the same problem when the fabric is too thick. I suggest to make more opening on the straps (more than 20 cm as suggested in the tutorial). If the bag is already stuck inside, you can try unpick the stitches carefully to make wider opening. You can also try trimming the seam allowance in the strap a bit to make it less bulky. I really hope you will able to make it!
Oooh I saw this bag a few days ago and was just about to attempt to make a pattern but yay! you posted one, really well put together pattern and tutorial thanks so much for sharing, can’t wait to try making it :)
Thank you so much for posting both pattern and instructions. I will be using it to make bags for my nieces with the Alexander Henri fabric you see here : http://www.carmencitab.com/2010/04/sidetracks.html I think it’ll be really cute!
So clever! I love the fabrics that you used. I can’t wait to make one for myself.

Arigato gozaimasu, Pia! :D
Thanks so much for sharing this awesome pattern! I made one for myself yesterday – your instructions were very easy to follow, though I did make a mistake with the straps and have to correct it. I love it!!! Thanks!!!
I made mistakes when sewing that straps all the time! It feels so natural when sewing them to the other side, but it turned out the wrong way *sigh*
Thank you for the wonderful pattern, Novita! I’ve been wondering how to make this style bag. Your pattern is so perfect; do you mind sharing what software program you use to make this awesome pattern? I’m interested in making baby patterns for my sister-in-law. Thanks again!
Hi Tami,
I use CorelDraw to make the pattern. It’s a vector software similar to Adobe Illustrator, and it’s not really a drafting software. It’s just that I’m familiar with the software to make illustrations in another time of my life :)
woohooo … I love it … Thanks for sharing .. :)
Thank you so much for this! You’re awesome. :)
I can’t wait to try this out. Just tweeted it since it is too wonderful not to share.
oO! I saw your bag a few days ago but the pattern wasn’t published yet so I drafted my own. My bag didn’t turn out quite like yours. lmao. So, thanks alot for the pattern! I’m gonna try it again. :P
you-are-the-coolest.
