Goodbye Bashu

I’ve been feeling a bit broken-hearted these couple of days since Bashu left. I know, I know, don’t let yourself get too attached. It turned out easier said than done. And Bashu had been with us for only two weeks! Last Friday my husband and I took her to ARK office to meet her adopter. Coincidentally that day was also Bashu’s birthday, so I think it was a good day for her to start a new life. It was really nice to see her adopter and I quite easily imagined what a happy life Bashu has ahead of her. It […]

Garnet tops (+ dog tees)

As you might know, my wardrobe is mostly consisted of dresses, which is something that I had wanted to fix since the beginning of the year. But there were always some pretty dress patterns that distracted my attention and I kept making more dresses. A couple of months ago I bought these pair of denim from Modcloth on a whim. MillaMilla also has an English site and an etsy shop. Since I bought the pattern from the Japanese site, the instructions are in Japanese. But as usual Japanese instructions always have lots of helpful diagram so I […]

Bashu the Chinese Crested

We picked her up last Sunday at the adoption event in DOGSIGN in Jingumae. She came from Osaka with Kimchi, another Chinese Crested from the same breeder, both of them were very nervous that day. They stayed close together and were quite jumpy. I understood though, there were 2 playful huskies and one big dog playing fight the whole time! Once got home, […]
